Jamin and Kristen Eben began Crown’s Budget Coaching course looking for financial clarity, but they walked away with something deeper—peace, purpose, and a biblical perspective on money.

“We have really enjoyed the course and benefitted greatly from it,” they shared. “We have loved the Bible studies and are grateful that the course is so biblical! Our Coach Emanuel was a wonderful and gentle companion.”

For Jamin, one of the biggest takeaways was learning to view money through the lens of stewardship. “I’ve been encouraged to think about ‘God’s economy’ and how I am just a steward of my money,” he said. “Yes, it was encouraging and peace-giving to reflect on God’s role in our finances each week.”

Kristen found hope in seeing how Scripture speaks directly into financial decisions. “It was encouraging for me to see so many scriptures talk about handling money and how to be wise and honor the Lord in these areas,” she reflected. “It comforted me to not worry about the future. Even when we’re in debt, we can still be wisely generous.”

The coaching not only reshaped their mindset but also their day-to-day finances. Today, they have a functioning budget, are further along in their financial journey, and are giving more than ever before. “We only have $11k of student loans left—our only debt apart from the house—and we have a plan to pay it all off before the end of the year,” they shared.

Through biblical guidance and practical steps, the Ebens are experiencing financial freedom and growing closer to God’s heart for stewardship.
